Holiday for an elderly person
Every month we help more than 1,500 people accommodated and working in municipal homes for the elderly and CSTC for people with disabilities throughout Bulgaria.
The summer is almost over! Sea, sun, happy moments with our loved ones.
Pay Forward Foundation has launched a new campaign related to our dear friends from all the municipal homes for elderly people and people with disabilities.
We are planning to provide them with a holiday on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and Bulgarian Balkans so that they can be filled with positive emotions, because they really deserve it. For this we need your support. We need 50 000 BGN, which will be used to provide transport to the sea destination, hotel accommodation and full-board for a couple of days.
Let’s help these sunny elderly people together and provide them with the perfect holiday, let’s make them happy, give them moments of real joy. For the most important moments in human life are those that give emotions to the heart.
Let’s open our hearts once again. Let’s pay forward the good together! It’s worth it to see the sparkle in the eyes of people in need.

P.S. From the previous donations, people from VMware Company succeeded to help more than 1500 people to have their Easter and Christmas lunch. People in municipal homes were able to feel as real humans, having support and food, furthermost – celebrating life at its best.

Pay Forward Foundation founders
Who are we?
It was the autumn of 2016. Every year the students of Intellect received gifts for Christmas. This year, however, they were going to do something different. With a joint effort and with great joy, the children of „Intellect“ made gifts and cards for children in orphanages. There were so many tears of happiness this Christmas that it was more than clear that we couldn’t stop there. That’s why in the following year we expanded the initiative. We were joined by digital agency Xplora and Netpeak, as well as many of our friends. We tripled the cards and gifts we made, and we tripled the funds we raised. We helped three times as many people and did three times as much good.
Our history
The founders of the initiative are Georgi Malchev and Vanya Ananieva. And how many heroes there are in this story… Here are not only the Xplora and Intellect teams. There are over 1500 people who have actively participated in Pay Forward so far. Companies large and small have supported the homes with donations, schools have organized workshops to support the initiative, hundreds of people have personally inscribed cards for each person in the homes.
Do you know how it feels when you walk into a home for the elderly and realise that their children have long forgotten about them? When you find out that the home doesn’t have the money to buy laundry detergent and they have no clothes to wash. When you bring apples and they look at you with bright eyes. When you go to children without parents and find out they are living in a barn. When a ship captain, a journalist, a writer, an architect lose their inner balance and end up in a mental institution… and no longer have the world to themselves… We hear about these people. Sometimes we read. But to enter their territory and feel the emotion with your whole being – believe me, there are no words to describe it.
